Erica Clift, a 1999 Aloha High School graduate, Aloha, Oregon, is currently pursing an MPH degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Erica has volunteered as an intern with the Multnomah County HIV Program. Her career goal is to become a program director or evaluator working to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities.
Jennifer Holliday, a graduate of Grant Union High School in John Day, Oregon is pursuing MD and MPH degrees from Oregon Health and Sciences University. Jennifer’s career goal is to become a public health physician and advocate for rural communities.
Elizabeth Baxter is pursuing an MPH at Portland State University while working part time as a Special Projects Manager for the Oregon Office for Health Policy and Research. Liz’s career goal is to improve systems and enhance health and social services with an emphasis on migrant health.
Kathleen O’Leary is currently a student at the University of Washington Extended MPH program and is employed as a public health nurse for the Oregon Department of Human Services, Health Services. Kathleen’s career goals include contributing to the development of future public health nurse leaders in Oregon.
Robin Shea is pursuing an MPH at Oregon Health and Sciences University and works as an adult nurse practitioner at the Marion County Health Department. Robin’s goal is to work with Hispanic and underserved populations.
Jennifer Goldman is pursuing an MD degree at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Jennifer has done extensive volunteer work with Volunteers in Medicine and Committed Partners for Youth.
Naomi Hernandez graduated from McKay High School in Salem, Oregon and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Oregon with a double major of Sociology and Spanish. Naomi has extensively volunteered with “GANAS” MEChA’s Mentoring Program for Latino students and has a strong interest in migrant health.
John Roth graduated from Roseburg High School in Roseburg, Oregon and is pursuing a Physician’s Assistant degree at Oregon State University with a major in Medicine. John has volunteered at Salud’s Woodburn clinic and as a Spanish translator for US medical teams working in Nicaragua.
Sarah Harrison graduated from Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon and is a pursuing an MPH at Oregon State University. Sarah was an intern case-worker at the Independent Living Program with an interest in health promotion and education.
